Same kitchen. New flavors.
Tiger's Garden has been part of downtown Vancouver for years. We've always cooked Thai and Laotian food on this corner — and now we're doing it better than ever. Same family recipes, sharper technique, and a menu full of flavors we're proud to put in front of you.
Reservations recommended for parties larger than five.

Four things we don't shortcut.
- .01
Cooked the way we were taught.
Our recipes come from the family, and they've only gotten better with time. Curries still pounded from paste, broths still simmered the long way — just with more years of practice behind them.
- .02
Two cuisines, one table.
We're proud to plate Laotian classics alongside the Thai standards. Larb and papaya salad next to pad thai and panang curry, pick what your table feels like tonight.
- .03
Cozy, on purpose.
There's a dining room and there's a cocktail lounge, both calm enough to talk in. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations recommended for parties larger than five.
- .04
Local first.
Downtown Vancouver has been our neighborhood for a long time. We've fed people here through weekday lunches, date nights, and the after-work crowd from Esther Short Park — and the food keeps getting better.
Thai & Laotian, side by side.
Thai
Bright, balanced, herb-led. Tom yum and tom kha, the full curry lineup, pad thai the way we make it. Cooked with fresh chili, kaffir lime, lemongrass, and a lot of basil.
Laotian
Sharp, citrusy, and lean on the herbs. Larb minced with toasted-rice powder, papaya salad pounded in the mortar, sticky rice for finishing the plate.
Consistently high quality meals. From the soup to rice dishes, curry to stir fry, everything is very fresh and flavorful.
What else we do.
Cocktail lounge
A small, quiet lounge attached to the dining room. Thai-leaning cocktails plus the classics.
Catering
Office lunches, family gatherings, rehearsal dinners. Ask us, we'll build a menu around your headcount.
